Runtime and auto renew
Add one to three days of server time and let the dashboard renew a Discord bot server automatically.
How runtime works
Credit-based servers use paid runtime. A base server costs 3 credits for each 24-hour block. Upgrades increase that server’s daily cost. Each server has its own time-left counter.
Add time manually
- 1Open the Discord server management page.
- 2Find Add runtime.
- 3Choose 1 day, 2 days, or 3 days.
- 4The button shows the exact number of credits that will be used.
- 5After payment, the selected time is added to the existing expiry time. A credit-suspended server is unsuspended when possible.
Enable auto renew
- 1Open the server management page.
- 2Find Auto renew.
- 3Press Turn auto renew on.
- 4When the server has about one hour left, the system tries to use the current daily cost and add another 24 hours.
- 5If the server is already near expiry when auto renew is enabled, one day may be added immediately.
Important
Auto renew does not create credits. Keep enough credits in the wallet. When there are not enough credits, the server can run out of time and become suspended.
Unlimited credits
When Unlimited is active, supported credit-based renewals do not reduce the normal wallet balance. The server still uses runtime blocks and auto renew still needs to be enabled for automatic extension.
Recover a suspended server
- 1Open Discord Bot Hosting and check the wallet.
- 2Earn or buy enough credits for the server’s current daily cost.
- 3Open the server and add at least one day of runtime.
- 4Enable auto renew if you want future automatic renewal.
- 5Open Pterodactyl and start the process if it did not start automatically.
